I promised to write my blog during my holiday and until now I had no time left at all to write something. And you're right to sent me an email to remind me at that promise:-) We were busy with the dormer window and the paint. It is a terrible height:-( We are now four days further and the dormer window is almost finished.

ReplyDeleteYour post is good and has no spelling mistakes this time, so well done. The only grammar error is that we say 'I promised you I would write my blog...', not 'I promised you to write'. However, it is okay if you leave out the 'you' and say 'I promised to write'. The inclusion of 'you' changes the format of what follows the verb. There are rules about verb patterns which you can find in your grammar book....but after the holidays will be fine. You have too much work at home to do :)
